NYC Bound!

Today we left Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Hershey is an adorable little town that's all about, you guessed it, chocolate! Yesterday we visited Hersheypark, a chocolate themed amusement park with killer rollercoasters. Being from Florida, its hard to impress me with a theme park, but Hersheypark managed to be fun and not as crowded or filled with screaming children. I was definitely impressed by the badass coasters with short lines to accompany them. I wish we'd stayed longer and would definitely go there again, next time trying to hit all 17 coasters in one sitting.
For dinner we went to The Chocolate Avenue Grill, contrary to what the sign says. A pretty view with good food, but the real treasure is right around the corner. Au Bon Lieu is a tiny French restaurant that was fun and delicious. I highly recommend it for people looking for something a little out of the norm. The crêpes are extraordinary, somebody please get the Nutella and strawberries, it's a legitimate mouthgasm.
We are almost to our end destination, the bustling Manhattan, and I couldn't be more elated. Although there's been a little bit of screaming about getting lost, and a little bit of anxiety about my upcoming due dates, NYC calls to me as we drive by Newark Airport and IKEA.
I couldn't imagine a better birthday for my cousin and best friend, Claudia, who is currently neon camo clad with a camera around her neck. Next stop, the city of my dreams!

At Au Bon Lieu you could draw on the tables with chalk, I chose a rendition of my coffee cup whereas Claud drew characters from an anime called Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure. Don't quiz me, I have no idea.
